Romanian Ambassador met with Dejan Židan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food

 

Ambassador Cosmin Boiangiu met with Dejan Židan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, on October 10, 2014. The two officials expressed satisfaction with the very good level of cooperation between Romania and Slovenia; they reviewed priorities of the bilateral agenda and assessed  opportunities for concrete cooperation projects in the near future. 

Agriculture and rural development are areas with great potential for bilateral cooperation, including through EU cohesion programmes, and for joint ventures of Romanian and Slovene companies on third markets. Ambassador Cosmin Boiangiu also emphasized the potential for cooperation in forestry. The two officials also expressed interest in supporting joint projects at the level of the local administrations.

Minister Dejan Židan expressed interest in deepening cooperation with Romania in agriculture, forestry and food industry, and for a better connectivity of companies, agents and experts of the two countries from these fields.
